bad bob Posted March 17, 2001 Share Posted March 17, 2001 I have enjoyed it as well, though I enjoyed monkey combat too. Defeating the Glass bottom boat was pretty funny. I am still trying to figure out how to defeat Rottingham at insult swordfighting. When I go back to practice on the other ships they won't respond to Rottingham's insults. Any suggestions? Remember that everything has to rhyme, also the comeback`s to Rottingham`s insults. Learn all insults and comebacks from the lesser pirates, and then take on Rottingham. Use your common sense to see which comebacks fit, like: -Your mother wears a toupèe. -Oh, that is so clichèe. I won`t say the others, figure them out by yourself. Don`t use Rottingham`s insults on the lesser pirates, then you won`t learn anything. You`ll get it after a while, so try not to ask people for the correct insults & comebacks.
