Can't play the game

I need help in startinrg the game as there are no instruction in the box and it getting on my nerves please help as sooon as possible

The User Instructions are in the booklet in the front cover of the Monkey Island CD's.

 

Alternatively full instructions are given in the "Read Me"file on the CD.
