text problem

I have a big problem with the game:

The text that should appaer when you talk or need to do something with an object, does NOT appaer.

I tried the CD's at a friends computer, and there worked everything. Full instalation isn;t a solution too.

I really hope someone can help me, cause the game isn't cool now.
