janet Posted February 24, 2001 Share Posted February 24, 2001 I have reached the gate to Pegnose Pete's and have met Guybrush from the future. I carried on the journey and now Guybrush past is at the other side of the gate. I can't get past without the two talking to each other and then I have to start again. Amanda2001 Posted February 24, 2001 Share Posted February 24, 2001 I had the same problem a few days ago. Have you got a joystick configued cos that sometimes interferes with the programme. If not rearrange your options. Mine worked eventually after several attempts. After future Guybrush has given you the items and you have unlocked the gate, go thru then exit to the west and go north then west again and you should re-meet him from the other side.
