Darth Lunatic1587246489
You may have seen this excerpt on the front page of this site anyways here it is Despite all of the work Raven has done in the past and its extensive plans for the near and far future, Raffel said they are trying to keep the company from becoming too big and unwieldy. "We keep it down to three teams at the most. We have always done that," Raffel said. "We always try to keep our egos in perspective. I think we have seen too many times when the same people get a little bit of a success and they think that is always going to be the case. We realize that success comes when you continue to work at it and it?s nothing that we take for granted." I think that sums it up perfectly. Lucasarts is a perfect example of what happens when a company gets too big for its own good. They had some great titles ealier on and a lot of success. Then they started churning out rubbish faster than the market could handle. Computer game companies cannot afford to become commercialised sell outs (eg lucasarts). I think it's great that Raven are trying to remain a somewhat small, creative, kickass company.
