Mafia_Jabba Posted August 24, 2001 Posted August 24, 2001 Where the heck can I get software to view divx movies that I download from kazaa and gnucleus... And-They are AVI's can they still be DIVX..and I did download a DIVX player but I am only getting the audio?
Guest ZeroXcape Posted August 24, 2001 Posted August 24, 2001 To download DIVX, there's a link on our downloads page. You can check it out there. Basically, some AVI's are encoded in DIVX. So if you don't have DIVX installed, you'll probably just get audio. These movies that you downloaded are legal I hope... (i.e. like the one Burrie made.)
magnum1587246490 Posted August 24, 2001 Posted August 24, 2001 There is also a new DivX version 4 codec I recommend that you download the version that includes the player, because (if not very nice) it's not bad, and more important, it has the feature to play incomplete files I don't know if it's backwards compatible with DivX ver 3.11, so if you can't view the movies, download the old codec as well. Good luck!
