piratestacy Posted December 7, 2001 Share Posted December 7, 2001 When I got my shiny new Mac G4 867 with an nVidia GeForce2 MX card, I thought I'd finally get to play EFMI4 with some great graphics acceleration and all. But no! The nVidia drivers seem to have a problem with EFMI4's ability to detect thousands of color mode. Even when I make sure that my monitor is set to thousands of colors, the game will not run because it thinks that I am not in the correct mode. The only solution to this problem seems to be to disable my nVidia extensions, which is no good because then I can't play the game full screen or with any graphics acceleration. I've pestered Aspyr about this, but they've been ignoring it. I thought it was Apple's problem for a while, but the OS 9.2.2 update included some new nVidia drivers and I'm still having this problem.
