Nob Akimoto
Reason why there's a lack of enlisted was because Gene expected that Starfleet officers were the equivilant of today's astronauts, very well trained and a select few. That sort of went by the way side later, with TOS having enlisted crewmen(the guys who wear uniforms that look different than the norm)
Nute Gunray
Sometimes he would manage to say "Captain, Look!" before screaming in pain and vaporizing. I've always liked non-descript blue shirt walking around in the background, even when it didn't make any sense for there to be one. I'd have to say that Enterprise has the best uniforms yet. I'd go into space wearing that, but not any of those other uniforms and ESPECIALLY not the TNG dress uniform or those distinctly unusual ST:TMP uniforms. RANDOM THOUGHT: Least favorite character on any Trek TV series: the little gay cabin boy Wesley Crusher. I HATE HIM. Least favorite character in any MOVIE: the chick that V-GER was driving around as an android or possessed person or whatever THAT was.
Nitro
I dunno... I've heard Geordi utter the words "Petty Officer" many many times... For those of you not in 'the know', Petty Officers, of any Class (there are 1st [PO1], 2nd [PO2], 3rd [PO3], and the highest of 'em all, Chief Petty Officer [CPO]) are still enlisted men. Borg Collective
Bear in mind that the series are written by Starfleet propagandists, and do not represent an accurate view of events. Originally posted by CaptainRAVE Actually its not because all the borg are now destroyed You are referring to Voyager: Endgame. Again, an innaccurate account of only one possible chain of events. Even in that timeline, Admiral Janeway succeeded in destroying a transwarp hub and devastating Unimatrix 001. You, like the writers, do not grasp the nature of the Collective. Any drone, even the "Queen" unit itself, are irrelevant. Unless one were to hunt down every single drone in the metaverse, the Collective will survive. We are immortal. We are One.
