Guest Chillin
Well the best of course is the Naboo Starfighter, it has manuverability and speed like a TIE Interceptor. It also has a very vast rate of fire, it's main advantage over the TIE is it's shields and a whopping 10 proton torpedoes. However, my faveorite vehicle is of course the one and only X-WING! Guest Wedge_man
My favorite is the falcon and the v-wing.
Guest Chillin
I don't like either all that much really. The Falcon has great shields and a lot of proton torpedoes, but it is kindof slow not very manuverable and it will never shoot at the target I want it to. The V-wing is fast and very manuverable, but it can't roll or do a loop, it's lasers have a slow fire rate unless you use the rapid fire mode but then they over heat and quit, it has very little shields, and I hate the cluster missles. Guest vadimred13
i go for speed, i like a wing, naboo fighter, and tie interceptor. and dont tell me that the shields on tie and a wing are too weak. if u r skilled, u wont care about that that cause with their manuverability, skilled players wont get hit. btw, a have a friend whos fave vehicle is the y wing! i laugh in his face
Guest Imladil
A-wing. Anyone who flies anything else had better pack a parachute...'cause he's going down. In my A-wing, I ignore laser cannon; I'm just too darned fast for them. I can fly an A-wing through places that would snag and crash any other vehicle. X-wings are amusing...but lord, are they slow! My main frustration with RS was having to use the X-wing as the default vehicle. I always wanted to jump out with my blaster and shoot the darned thing down myself! I liked the V-wing, too, but it can't climb very high. Try using it on the reactor in the volcano, and you'll see what I mean... My second favorite ship, though, was the TIE interceptor. Only problem: no missiles. Take my word for it: the A-wing is the best ship in Rogue Squadron. ------------------ "Is the state of being realized as important as realizing the state of being?" --Thrustweasel of Earth
Guest Lt Cracken
Does it have guns? yes. can it fly? yes. can I win with it. Yes. Then I like it.
Guest Shootist
V-Wing be da King. It has speed, especoally when you use the super duper gotta go NOW button. The missiles are "fire and forget" which lets me hunt down another target while they're tracking. There are only three targets that I can think of that a short blast from the guns in high speed mode. AT-ATs, the big ol' house of mirrors on Sullust, and things that weren't meant to be targets in the first place. (Yeah, I know Imladil, about nukin' da Po folk The Naboo is just a V-wing with a paint job and different acceleration basically, it's pretty good. Y-Wing...I'd rather have a sister in a whore house than a brother in a Y-wing. Mil Fal? Where is the udder on that cow? Your life depends on a disgruneled wino to shoot the critical target at the critical time...he's usually drinkin' when he should be SHOOTIN'. A-wing, cute, fast, but NO FIRE POWER. ------------------ Don't do things like wear stinkey green tennis shoes, they may get a lot of attention, but attention ain't the same thing as love...Ack...Phhht!!! Guest garyah99
Definitely the X-Wing!! As far as being too slow, if you want to get somewhere in a hurry, close the S-foils!! If you're shooting, you don't want to go that fast anyway!! ------------------ Every time I think I've found the end of the rainbow...I trip over it. Guest Chillin
I totally agree with Gary. And Shootist the Naboo is nothing like the v-wing first of all the Naboo Starfighter can roll and loop, which do come in handy, and it doesn't have crazy missles that lock on to whatever they want. The Naboo is the most like a TIE Interceptor.(I'm sure I've said that a million times)It has the speed, agility, and the super fast rate of laser fire, the only difference is that it has shields and TEN101010TEN, yes I said 10 proton torpedoes. With that many torps you could practicly beat Mos Eisly without firing a single laser. The Naboo Starfighter is the BEST fighter in the game....but I still think the X-Wing is the best because I mean hey, X-Wing, Rouge Squadron, they go together. If you want me to tell you why a flying box of glass with no shields or guns would be better than a v-wing then read the last post I put in. Oh yeah I also agree with Lt Cracken. You guys (and girls) just don't get. You can disagree with me all you want but we all know deep down that I am right and your not and you can't just accept that. Guest The Master
Like most people the naboo starfighter. Reason: Speed- Go faster than Tie Interceptor, can go slower than Y-Wing. Fire Speed- Very pinpointed. Doesn't shoot all over the place. Size- Can fit through small cracks. Tracion- No tracton! Just the way I like it! Well thats as many reasons as I can think of for now. Guest Shootist
CHILLIN you gotta be ILLIN' If you can fly and shoot well enough ya ain't gotta play loop-da-loop or fly upside down and bass ackward. Ain't nobody here ta show off to. A fighter pilot's job is to kill critters and break things. I didn't say the Naboo was a bad craft. I like it too! Fer my nickle I like the fire and forget MUCH MUCH more than a glitzy paint job. As far as who's right and wrong..... ------------------ Don't do things like wear stinkey green tennis shoes, they may get a lot of attention, but attention ain't the same thing as love...Ack...Phhht!!! Guest Imladil
While you guys have been arguing over V-wings and Naboo starfighters, I've swooped in with my A-wing, grabbed your sister, the booze and rocketed my quick butt out of there. Firepower? What does firepower matter if you can't get right there real quick-like? Secretly, I'll tell you that I give top performance marks to the Naboo, but I dislike it for the same reason I dislike the V-wings 'fire-and-forget' missiles: they make the game too easy! Any XvT players in the house? Ever see one of those real fast arrowhead things go zipping through the battle, just stripes, a cockpit and some engines? That was an A-wing. And I'm proud to fly them. ------------------ "Is the state of being realized as important as realizing the state of being?" --Thrustweasel of Earth

Guest Chillin
SHOOTIST what do you think seeker torpedoes are you lock on and shoot, they never miss, unless there is some giant canyon wall in the way. That is fire and forget. And as for being good enough to not need loops or rolls I hardly use them any way, but when your charging like mad at a some Turbolaser and they have you in their sights in the few seconds it takes to line up a shot, you can roll on your side to present a smaller profile and just fly between the Turbolaser's shots. Can't do that with a v-wing can you. Another thing, you are all obsessed with speed if you can fly there is no point in getting away. The Naboo is undoubtedly the best but I love the X-Wing. I mean X-Wing,Rogue Squadron,X-Wing,Rogue Squadron, they're practicly the same thing. The X-Wing's systems are all evened out for top peformance...it's firing rate is not two slow that when you line up a shot and are ready to shoot you miss the chance because your lasers haven't charged up from the last shot, and they're not too fast that when you push the trigger you shoot 10 times. It's manuverability is not so sluggish that you couldn't keep up with a shuttle and not so fast that you can turn around standing still. I mean I can take down those pesky Interceptors that follow you everywhere and won't leave you alone. It's shields are not too weak. (you can never have too stong of shields) Sure you sometimes wish for more speed but you can always close the S-foils for a burst of speed. But if you're some speed crazed maniac then this is not the ship for you and you should stick with the TIE, A-wing, or Naboo. Geez that was long wasn't it? Guest Imladil
X-wing? *Bang!* See? That wasn't hard at all... Nice try, Shootist! We all know that it would take ten thousand A-wings combined to pull Kasan Moor out of the gravity well generated by, say, a package of twinkies. Yippee! Yippee! Boing! Yippee! Guest Chillin
IMLADIL, one thing, a quad burst from my X-WING is equal to one of your doppy missles on your A-WING. You have no fire power. Your missle would just deflect off of my shields without even detonating.

Guest Chillin
I don't think you all read my other post. A-Wing: zap, zap, zap. shooting at invulnerable X-Wing X-Wing: dinky lasers from A-Wing splash harmlessly on X-Wing's shields. X-Wing throtles back A-Wing: over shoots X-Wing X-Wing: takes it's time deciding whether it should use lasers or proton torps. It decides it should use P-torps. It gets a lock and fires. A-Wing: foolishly thinks it can use it's speed to outrun X-Wing and P-torpedo. Uh oh whats this A-Wing discovers that speed doesn't always work and that proton torpedoes are faster than it. Bye bye A-Wing X-Wing: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!! X-Wings are better!!!!
