If only had 1 ship in the game and deleted all the others (the ship must be one that you could use in the game already), which ship would you choose?

Well, I love to fly them all! Except the Y-wing, what a slug! So slow I sometimes fall asleep at the controls. wink.gif

But this is Rogue Squadron, so if I could only fly one ship it would have to be the X-wing! All around the best ship in the game, IMO. Great, balanced design that is strong in all categories: Firepower, Speed, Maneuverability, and Shields. smile.gif

A-Wings don't suck, snowspeeders do!!!! And the y-wing is slow, but that can be used to your advantage, just go near the ground and slam the brakes on when someone's behind you.

The A-Wings are fine for fly-bys, but when I go in there I don't leave until they're all scrap metal! biggrin.gif

I just got back from one of my assigned missons. I have been gone all week. But I am back. Part of the reason is school..... In fact I am in school right now.

Actually i really like the snowspeeder, it is what brought rogue squadron into existence, if it wasn't for the snowspeeder level in shadows of the empire, rogue squadron would be all in space instead of on ground. And besides, you can fly the speeder in almost all the levels. I got the glitch to work in shadows of the empire on speeder level, try this: do the debug code in the speeder level, then activate invincibility, now when you go to the edge of the map the game won't stop you, keep going until you hit the "hall of mirrors".

it's pretty cool.

Hey, so, can you tell us how you found this website and forum? I used to like the a-wing until i got to taloraan, after that i liked it and then i played it on taloraan again and i didn't care for it, then i liked the x-wing, but when it got hard to maneuver (it's wings were to far apart and i'd crash in jade moon while going through the canyon) i decided to like the y-wing, but since the y-wing goes too slow and bombs aren't that fun to use i decided to not like it as much. THEN i remembered when rogue squadron first came out and i read soething that said something like: " Take the first level of Shadows of the Empire, and make it into a game, and make the levels big, you get Rogue Squadron, so now i like the Snowspeeder because it's the first ship to be in a Nintendo 64 game and it gave rise to the wonderful game we all know as Rogue Squadron

it's for n64! Umm, i'll import it for you, i mean copy and paste itWe've received a mysterious communication from the depths of LucasArts, revealing an exclusive, never-seen-before Debug Code for Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire. This code grants you access to a multitude of menu options:

Get all stuff

Invincibility

50 lives

Put villains to sleep

Kill Dash

Teleport

Change levels

Walk through walls

Activating this menu also unlocks all levels.

Here's how to invoke this difficult, and rather obscure, code:

1. As with other cheats, use a game where the player's name is "_Wampa__Stompa" (the underscores are spaces). Remember, there is ONE space before Wampa and TWO spaces between Wampa and Stompa. Also, the W in Wampa and the S in Stompa must be capitalized.

2. Begin playing on any level of the game, and pause the game.

3. Hold down ALL of the following: all C Buttons, Z, L, R, and Control Pad Left (that's the digital cross-pad on the left side of the Controller).

4. While holding all of those down, push the Analog Control Stick HALFWAY to the left, and hold it until you hear a "donk" sound (about five seconds).

5. Repeat, but hold the Control Stick halfway to the right, waiting until you hear the "donk" sound.

6. Repeat again to the left, again to the right, and again to the left.

7. Pink text should appear at the top of the screen. Use L and R to change options. Some options require pushing the Control Stick Up and Down to change. Press A to activate them.

8. To get the cheat menu back, pause the game, then hold down all the buttons used in Step 3 above and move the Control Stick Left or Right.

Note: Using these options might get you stuck in the game. Weird stuff WILL happen.

At the end of this mysterious transmission were the following words:

"P.S. There is no "_Jabba" cheat. Never was."

Have fun with the code. May the Force be with you!

there you go, it's practically impossible to do, it may look dumb, but you need to use you NOSE to move the control stick if you don't have someone to help you. but once you got the code, you can do everything from takeing all textures off to getting 100 seeker missiles on your outrider to taking the fog off, to using the JETPACK on echo base (and nintendo says you can't get up to that top right corner where you see the falcon-prove them wrong).

I hope this works for you, the only thing that made me upset was not being able to use the jetpack on the train level.

I found this site from Jediknight.net. Speeder is nice. average speed, great manevorability, average armor, just don't be stupid like me and attack an AT-AT form the FRONT instead of from the side or back.

huh? What i do? Supposed to put it in the other socket? Uh oh...

Just keep jinking side to side and up and down when you attack the AT-AT from the front and you'll be fine. Geez that's one crazy code man, but I'll try it. biggrin.gif

But theres no challenge in that! Just think someone who went head on with an AT-AT and with no bobing or weaving and lived to tell about it!

Yeah I've done that, two of the AT-ATs on Fest don't even shoot at you, so It's not that hard. wink.gif
