Guest Gold Squadron Leader

I have opened this topic so we can all discuss what topic should be covered next. I like to keep things on topic regarding Rogue Squadron, my favorite game for PC. However, most everything I can think of has already been discovered. So I'll just pick something and bear with me if you seen it before.

Special objects or scenery. I don't mean the hidden powerups, I mean things like the droid escape pod in first mission. What neat little things have you found in the other missions while flying around enjoying the view after toasting all of the Imperials?

Yes that little escape pod in the first level. What was it doing there?! How did all those stormtroopers fit into it?! Where did they get those big hairy animals?! And how did they get them so fast?!

Enough things to discuss, lets start.

Yeah, and why would the stormtroopers abandon their high tech vehicles to ride those big hairy lizards? I mean sure, they (the big hairy creatures) can handle the climate, but they are so slow it must take them weeks to get anywhere. Why not take a speeder of some sort or troop transport? Wouldn't the stormtroopers be much more comfortable in the climate controlled bay of a shuttle than sitting for hours in the blazi ng sun on the back of some stinking lizard?

Also on this mission, do you chase those evil spies down and waste them? You know the ones, cruising along in those sky-hoppers in the canyon trying to sneak away. I aways get them, nothing slips by ol' Gold Leader.

Then there's Jabba the Hutt's palace. That stupide slug won't open the door and let me in, no matter how much I knock on the front door with my turbo lasers and torpedoes. How in the world am I suppose to rescue Han? I mean really, how rude!

Another thing, are you supposed to shot the Tuskin Raiders? On the radar it sats there good, but in the movie it says there bad. It realy is confusing to me. And did anyone ever fly into the sarlac mouth?

Green 4, I don't see the pic added to your first post, what was it suppose to be? As for the Tuskin Raiders, in the game they are considered friendly and should not be shot if you are going for a medal. For fun though, I aways take them out along with everything else on this level. smile.gif

No, never flew into the sarlac. Was he nice? Find lots of smugglers and bounty hunters in there? If so, tell Boba Fett hi for me. We used to play cards every Saturday night. Man, what a sore loser. wink.gif

OK, I see it now. What is it? A battle droid of some type from episode 1? I only saw it once and thought it pretty lame film except special effects. Don't recall this metallic monster. Refresh my memory.

this my friend is no fiction what so ever. He is very much real. Meet The Great Mechadon! 472 pounds, crushing steel claws, and about 3ft long, 2ft wide, and 2 1/2ft tall he is designed to crush all who opposes him.

I have part of my website dedicated to this daunting robot!
