Why doesn't my Speeder fire it's tow cable?

I'm in mission 4. I'm using the Speeder and every time that I try to fire the secondary weapon (Tow cable) - I get the noise like it's inoperative. Am I missing something very simple? Please help!!!

You could be not pressing the right button.I don't own the PC version,so I don't really know.

You must be on the Correlia mission. The snowspeeder's harpoon and tow cables are only used in the game to down Imperial AT-AT's or walkers. When you get close to the legs of one, your pilot (Skywalker or Janson?) will say : "Activate harpoon," and sometimes before: "Go for the legs." When you do, you can then use the secondary weapon. If you've never wrapped an AT-AT, remember to stay low, to maintain control and keep the best view possible (it's real weird at first), and to keep wrapping around until it's down, without hitting it (you may explode!).

There's also a bonus inside one of the building areas. I think its seeker torpedos.

Thanks Ace! I didn't realize that the secondary weapon doesn't work unless you hear a) "Activate harpoon" or b) when you're flying right next to the AT-AT.
