Want the latest, check out article at this link:

http://cube.ign.com/previews/15337.html

Highlights:

Pros: Definitely in development; awesome, almost movie quality graphics; slated for release this year; Setting is original trilogy, not Episode I; land-based AND space environments. biggrin.gif

Cons: Not for PC; no multiplayer expected. frown.gif

Remember, a lot of this is just speculation by IGN's previewer. We won't know all the specifics until LucasArts/Factor5 officially unveil this game at the next E3 show.

In any event, I am not planning on buying a GameCube. My only hope is they later port this to PC just like they did with RS and BfN. It seems possible if unlikely, doesn't it?

They really need to catch on to the fact that multiplayer is the future of gaming

well, the only multiplayer thing to do is compare scores! I've joined TIECorps, and i can compete in contests and get medals and stuff, all with TIE Fighter, and that isn't even multiplayer!

Well, if you read the review the reason the IGN previewer thinks there will not be any multiplayer, is that he thinks it is scheduled to be a launch release when GameCube goes on sale this fall. They state Factor5 dosen't have enough time to properly implement MP is such a short time, and I tend to agree. However, they could of been working on this longer than you think, except they had BfN in the pipeline ahead of it.
