Alright.

This has gone WAY too far. take the game back it's bugged if you can't find the place to put the passcode, and didn't the game come with a manual, and isn't their a passcode section in this site that tells you exactly how to put the passcodes in?

Ok. Here's a passcode for ya:

CHICKEN

It works. to enter is go to settings and you should see where to put it. you click the thing and type this passcode in, then play a level. the chicken code should help you against those imperial walkers.

trainee, passcodes are entered under "Settings".

However, please try something first! Enter these codes and try to beat the level:

IAMDOLLY (infinite lives)

TOUGHGUY (better shields/weapons etc.)

Note, you must enter them each time you restart the game itself (but not different levels).

Check out the walk-throughs provided on this site to get strategy hints on how to down the walkers. I know how you feel! It took me forever. But with practice, its actually one of the things I enjoy -- even after scoring gold medals on all 19 levels. You must use the tow cable and wrap the legs like in "Empire Strikes Back". It takes a great adjustment to learn how not to get too close and hit the legs or too far and lose the connection. Keep trying. The two codes I gave will help. Read strategy hints.

BTW, "Chicken" makes you play the game as an AT-ST. This was a pretty lame joke. I guess they just want to run off the people they "celebrate" as bringing "life" back to this site. No wonder it has been dead for so long.

Oh OK, sorry trainee. Just a little Pilot Lounge humor among us Rogues, we're not trying to be mean. The truth is that the passcode CHICKEN which sets the ship as the Imperial AT-ST "Chicken" walker is pretty lame. It is just a special bonus craft that let's you play around on the ground some. It is NOT a serious addition to the game since you cannot complete any of the levels using it. I havn't been able to anyways.

Seriously, about using passcodes. From the Roster screen, which is where you create or modify your player profiles, first select your player and press the Settings button that is the 2nd from top on the right side.

Now, on the Settings screen, you should see a passcode field on left side towards the top. Press enter or click on it to highlight, key the desired passcode and press enter, it should now be listed below. Add as many as you want using the steps above. You now have your passcodes set and they should all be listed below the entry field. Below that is a line where you can see some instructions on how to delete a passcode or receive messages that a code you enter is valid or rejected. To delete, click on a pascode on list and press Shift-Delete.

Passcodes in the PC version of RS are stored for as long as the game is open and active. If you close RS and restart it later, you will have to enter them again before starting a mission. If anyone knows how to store them permanertly in the player profile, please chime in. I always have to re-enter them every time I play.
