Notice, this forum thread is for posting test results from the RS Bundle.002 search quest for new, undiscovered passcodes. Please, please don't post anything else but these test results in this thread. If you wish to join the quest, please reply to my invitation thread titled "Attention all Rogues with PC! Join our quest!". Thank you.

 

To testers, please post the range you completed testing and ALL valid codes found, even the ones already known to work. This will be our master list. I'll check this regularly and send you an e-mail with your next assignment. Thanks, and good luck! smile.gif

I have no idea what it does though, i typed in chicken to see what it'd bring up, and it started searching, and one of the codes was chippie it's still searching though, so we may get more!!!!!!!!

i tried it without the passcode finder (tried doing a mission with it) and guess what??? I GOT TO FLY A WORLD DEVASTATOR!!!! ok, just kidding. I don't know what happens. It verifies the code though. So it must do something....the freaky thing is though, the code actually sounds like a real code instead of a bunch of mixed up numbers...

DARNIT!!!!! I'm glad i got the n64 verison.

 

Chippie is a N64 code, when they ported rogue squadron to pc, they must've 4got to take it out. The code in rogue squadron changes the guy's face to a guy with glasses (luke's face) and we all know that luke doesn't appear in the pc version making this code completely useless. :

I just dl the bundle today (1-31-00) i'll start it running overnight and hopefully post whatever results I get tomorrow.

First report:

 

AAAAAA - GZZZZZ scanned in approximately 8 hours. One code found but for some reason it was a 10 character code:

 

FSSRNBORCE

 

Something is amiss here. I started with AAAAAA and scan displayed only 6 character codes, but a 10 character code confirmed? I think LukA_YJK needs to debug this some more. Did you all start as instructed with a 6 character code, not 7, 8, 9 or 10?

 

Rogue9 reported a 10 character code found also? Is this a typo? This version of Bundle.002 is only suppose to search for strings of the same length as starting code entered.

 

LukA_YJK, what do you think? It may be awhile before he checks in so I'll send him an e-mail with our latest results.

 

Rogues, complete your first assignments then wait to hear from LukA_YJK or me for new orders. He'll probably have to send out a new version of Bundle.002.

 

P.S. - Please keep the posts to this thread to a minimum. Try to post only once per test after you have completely finished your scan range.

What do you mean for the original bundle? If you are talking about Game version I have v1.3 and it searches fine on mine

Rogues, please report in! The first round of testing should be done by now. We need to move on to scan all 7 character combinations. Please post your final findings for your assigned 6 character scan range. Thank you.

Thanks Rogue9. SadGhost and Rogue15, have ya'll finished your assignments yet? Or are you too busy to test right now? Let me know if you have dropped out of the project. Please don't though, we need everyone to help.

 

Now, I have begun my 2nd assignment for 7 character combinations: AAAAAAA - AZZZZZZ and have already found 1 new code. I am testing it to see iis effects on RS. So far it is accepted as valid but I havn't figured out what it does yet.

 

Rogue9, you can start on BAAAAAA - BZZZZZZ if you wish. Remember, each added character multiples the time to test by 26. I have shorten the test ranges to 1 letter to compensate, but it will still take longer to complete.
