Guest Jman
Hello Everyone, I'm new to computers and gameing. RS is only my second game, but the first game that needs a joystick. I bought a Logitech Wingman, but my system crashed when I went to reboot. I returned that, and the salesman suggested the Sidewinder Presision 2. I bought it, and I don't know if it's that good. I'm having a real hard time controlling the ship. Is it not accurate enough, or too accurate? Perphaps the question is too sensitive? So, I'm looking for advice on what's the best joystick? It's too bad that RS doesn't have a tutorial where you can learn how to fly, because maybe that's my problem? I'm thinking of returning this joystick, and maybe buying the better one. Is that one any better, it costs $100.00, it better be good. Any and all advice is greatly appriciated.

Guest Gold Squadron Leader
Have you read the thread here in Pilot's Lounge titled "Anyone use a Gamepad?" In it everybody discusses their favorite joystick. Mine is the Gravis Blackhawke Digital. All buttons are programmable: 4 on stick, 8 position hat, 1 more button and throttle on base. All this for $15 - $20 (after $10 rebate). A very nice stick. I personally wouldn't pay anywhere near $100 for a joystick. ------------------ Ties are flies, swat'em!
