Guest Xizor
Comrade, I, too, was once a child of Win2k, but actually, when RS wouldn't work I drew the line. Not being able to play such a great game is just too much. SOLUTION: Backup EVERYTHING! Reformat your HD, then run FDISK Partition your drive (50%/50% is good) Install Win98 in partition 1 Install Win2k in partition 2 The lousy part is that you have to install all of your drivers TWICE (once for each operating system). The awesome part is that you NEVER have to worry about win2k compatability again. It IS a royal pain in the you-know-what, but it is well worh it! ------------------ To contend with Xizor is to lose...

Guest Rogue Renegade
For whatever reason, it seems that all the ME upgrades cause problems. However, my newest system which was designed for ME (HP PIII 900) runs it just fine! I have no problems with RS.
Guest Gold Squadron Leader
I'm sticking with Win98 SE for now with DirectX 7.0a. It works fime for me with the games I play. What exactly is WinME? And what are its problems as currently released? Is it an upgrade of Win98? Or is it a completely new animal? For fun, describe it in 3 words or less, and no profanity! ------------------ Ties are flies, swat'em!
