More like A-wing does complete end run around X-wing and finally spirals in to a good firing angle to blast the Incom space-barge to smithereens. One thing I like about X-Wing vs TIE Fighter--when you pick a fight with an X-wing, it fights back. But it does die, eventually.
Guest Rogue9 Posted March 11, 2001 Posted March 11, 2001 Read all the Expanded Universe Books you will find that The X-Wings are always proported to have more manueverabilty than the A-Wings, they also have heavier weapons, better sheils, The Wraiths have to shoot an A wing down and the Worst Pilot in them did it rather easily.

Guest rebel alliance Posted March 11, 2001 Posted March 11, 2001 befor we sign our truce I would like to state a very important fact about the x-wing that puts it ahead of any ship.....the R2 unit that can be placed in the socket behind the pilot. everybody knows of all the functions it can do form putting more power to lasers to recharging sheilds to navigation this combination of the r2 unit with its perfect balance of power it kicks butt.
