Guest Rogue15 Posted April 12, 2001 Posted April 12, 2001 I'm trying to decide which star wars game I like the most. For strategy it'd have to be either rebellion or force commander. I wish rebellion had a thing where you can do the diplomacy on the planets, like talking with the governor or leader of the planet but it doesn't. but it DOES allow you to create your own characters for it. Force Commander i like because of the graphics, the people say cool stuff when you click on them too. Rogue Squadron sortof got boring after i found out that the atst you can control is smaller than the atst enemy. WHY DIDN'T THEY GIVE US AN AT-PT?!!?!!?!?!? That would've been so much funner. So i am uncertain of which sw game i like the most. I just wish i could play on the internet and find out which one has the funnest multiplayer.

Guest Molten_Lava1 Posted April 12, 2001 Posted April 12, 2001 Unfortunately I donot share your optimism about Jedi Knight, Rogue 9, it is a good game but I think that XWA and RS are about the best SW games LucasArts has released to date. If they comeout with another one I beleive that RS2 is supposed to come out soon (if I'm to believe the the rumours on this site). ------------------ The Empire will perish under the fire of our Glorious Fleet!

It pretty much set the standard for flying sims on the N64 (even though there aren't that many). Yeah, there were other sims for other systems, but hey, this is a Star Wars site, and we are all Star Wars fanatics. And the N64 is my favorite system, that I have at the moment, so... Or am I the only one. Star Wars fanatic I mean. Its like GoldenEye. It was one of the most revolutionary games and has inspired many FPS's. I can still sit down and enjoy a good GoldenEye-fest with my friends, just like I can sit down and enjoy Rogue Squadron. I'm an old-school gamer, so the new games might have better graphics, n'stuff, but graphics don't matter that much to me. ------------------ Dark Dom doesn't like Commies, so don't be one, please.

Good storyline, force powers, light sabers, that level where you had to escape from the falling ship...it basically rocked. Rogue Squadron (which I'm playing now) is a lot of fun, but doesn't quite pull you into the Star Wars experience the way JK did.

If I had the computer power to do it, I would probably choose XWA...but XvT is the latest version starfighter sim I can run, and my favorite at this time. I only play games where you race or fly.

I wish rogue squadron had force commander graphics, especially the troopers. and i wish it had the vehicles in it too, like the at-aa. Well, i guess everybody knows what i'm going to be doing today. Yep, that's right. Force Commander! The Empire is the best.
