Guest Wade Vox Posted July 31, 2001 Posted July 31, 2001 When did Madine defect? In Dark Forces, Katarn rescues him, but in Rogue Squadron, you rescue him. Heres my theory- Exposed as a Rebel agent by General Moch Rescued by Kyle Katarn Transferred to Corellia to meet Reeikan so he can offically defect Defects Does anybody know the real timing?
Guest Rogue15 Posted July 31, 2001 Posted July 31, 2001 HOW DARE U FORGET TO MENTION HIS DEFECTION IN X-WING!!!!! He defects in that, BEFORE Star Wars: A New Hope!
Guest Redwing Posted July 31, 2001 Posted July 31, 2001 LOL! Anyone read the Darksaber version? (my personal LEAST favorite) In that one, he just pretends to get lost in a jungle on a stormie patrol and flies off to the Rebels with the Imps thinking he was dead. ------------------ At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge.
Guest Rogue9 Posted July 31, 2001 Posted July 31, 2001 sorry Darksaber is non-canon in my opinion...they had no right to have on of the highest officials in the republic run a commando mission they also had no right to kill him
Guest Grand_Admiral_Ice Posted July 31, 2001 Posted July 31, 2001 Can you explain the whole canon and non-canon thing to me? I forgot which was SW and expanded universe and which was made up stuff. ------------------ For the empire! MY empire.
Guest Rogue9 Posted July 31, 2001 Posted July 31, 2001 as an Example the Dark Horse Infinities Series is non-cannon in other words it doesn't follow the SW story line
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 1, 2001 Posted August 1, 2001 Darksaber isn't all non-cannon. ------------------ "We will crush the Rebellion in one swift stroke."

At last we will have revenge.
Guest Grand_Admiral_Ice Posted August 1, 2001 Posted August 1, 2001 It does? ------------------ For the empire! MY empire.
Guest Wade Vox Posted August 1, 2001 Posted August 1, 2001 I thought Darksaber was pretty good...anyway, Crix did say 'i'm a warrior, not a politician'. Anyway, everybody has to die sometimes. What about Chewie?
Guest Redwing Posted August 1, 2001 Posted August 1, 2001 Chewie's death meant something. It was done very well, too---I mean it's a tribute to Chewbacca in itself that they had to drop a moon on his head to kill him. ------------------ At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. At last we will have revenge.
Guest Lujayne Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 In my opinion, the only SW books that are cannon are the ones written by either George Lucas, Timothy Zahn, or Mike Stackpole. Anything else I don't accept :/
Guest X-Wing Guy Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 Hey Lujayne! I'll tell you a secret if you promise not to ban me. ------------------ "We will crush the Imperials in one swift stroke"
Guest Rogue9 Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 you were google man...how is it that you think that is a secret.
Guest TK-421 Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 Oh. Great. He's back. ------------------ "The force is strong in this one!"
Guest Rogue9 Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 no worries...he's not spamming right now so no big...if he's a productive member of the forum I don't see why he can't stay.
Guest Lynk Former Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 Who in there right mind would think that LucasArts Star Wars games follow the timeline? ------------------
Guest Grand_Admiral_Ice Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 I dunno, you? ------------------ A six pack a day, keeps the doctor away.
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 2, 2001 Posted August 2, 2001 WEll, seeing as no one here is in their right mind.... ------------------ "We will crush the Rebellion in one swift stroke."
