What are the specs on your PC?

I was just wondering what everyones PC specs were. Mine are:

 

OS: Windows XP Professional

Ram: 256

Processor: Pentium III 866

Video: Single ATI 3D rage PCI( soon to be dual GeForce 2 128 AGP)

Audio: Soudblaster LIVE! (not sure which eddition)

Hard Drives: One 8 gig, one 4 gig.

Intel810e Chipset Driver

63 Megs of Ram (i really want to upgrade SOON to play force commander)

Esoniq Sound card (i guess)

pretty big monitor...

 

and i think that's all.

Ack! not a celeron! a 600 celeron might as well be a 486 pentium! OH, man....

well, it certainly runs all my games quite nicely. I really need some ram though, i heard it will improve video processing speed etc. that's probably why force commander will not run on my computer now.

home built Athlon classic at 700 mhz, 30 gig HD, 224 megs RAM, windows ME, cable modem, sound blaster live value, 32 MB TNT2 video card, 8x CDRW.

 

need to upgrade video card soon.

Uneducated comment. I run most of the Unix/Linux workstations on Celerons at work, and I get better performance than all but the highest PIIIs (Xeon and such).

 

The difference between a Celeron and a P3 is about a handful of instructions. The main difference is cache. The Celeron has half the onboard cache a P3 has, but it's full speed cache. It makes quite the capable gaming or desktop workstation.

 

Perhaps a bit of reading before you post?

naw, its cool man. You are right, about the whole celeron thing after all anyways.

 

I'll d-load AIM once my admin gets home. You know he is about d-loads...
