Guest Rogue15
well, it certainly runs all my games quite nicely. I really need some ram though, i heard it will improve video processing speed etc. that's probably why force commander will not run on my computer now. ------------------ Strike me down with all of your hatred and your journey towards the dark side will be complete. Guest Kint
Originally posted by S1DC: Ack! not a celeron! a 600 celeron might as well be a 486 pentium! OH, man.... Uneducated comment. I run most of the Unix/Linux workstations on Celerons at work, and I get better performance than all but the highest PIIIs (Xeon and such). The difference between a Celeron and a P3 is about a handful of instructions. The main difference is cache. The Celeron has half the onboard cache a P3 has, but it's full speed cache. It makes quite the capable gaming or desktop workstation. Perhaps a bit of reading before you post?
