Guest Rogue Leader
The game is totally awesome. Sure, it takes about two hundred hours when you play har difficulty level with a large galaxy, but it's a lot cooler than most Star Wars games. It doesn't beat Tie Fighter or RS, but it's vice versa for games like Podracer, BFN, and Rebel Assault II. I highly reccomend it for anybody who's looking for a good game. My favorite side is the Empire, because their ships are cooler and can last a heck of a lot longer than the rebel ships. I mean, isn't an MC cruiser supposed to be the equal of a star destroyer? Well, in this game, an Imp. star destroyer can beat the crap out of an MC cruiser in about a minute, if not less. One time I was playing as the rebels, and I took a huge fleet led by three MC cruisers into a battle against Coruscant. Their two star destroyers immediately wiped out like half of my fleet while taking no serious losses of their own. My fighters decimated their's, but then their lancer frigate destroyed my few remaining squadrons. I had maybe six ships left, and they still had two destroyers, a l. frigate, and a dreadnought. My two corvettes engaged their dreadnought, that was a fair fight. One corvette was destroyed, the other heavily damaged. I decided to take my corvette around and assist my MC cruiser Reliant battle it out with Master, a star destroyer. My other two MC cruisers attacked Judicator, destroying it at the cost of my Nebulan B frigate Vanquisher and my MC cruiser Alliance. My corvette was immediately destroyed by Master. Reliant was war weary and it too got destroyed, though it heavily damaged Master. My very last vessel, the MC cruiser Demolisher, finished Master off. It was a pity because three days later (Rebellion time) an Imperial fleet including a star destroyer and an Interdictor cruiser attacked Demolisher and wiped it out. It was a bunch of fun, except when I lost. Later on in the game I managed to supress the Empire, at a high cost, and win the game. It costs like $30 but it's worth fifty times that amount. Just get it, it's all I have to say. You have lots of different options, like five different troop choices, special forces, planetary construction facilities and defenses, recruitment, and of course, vessels. Guest Rogue15
Well, yes! I have Rebellion!!!! I ALWAYS play as Empire no matter what. Right now I own the Mayagil Sector, Sessewena Sector, and the Sluis Sector. I'm going to invade the Argil Sector (i think that's what it is, i could've mistaken it for a system though) Well, right now i'm mourning the death of Admiral Screed, he was kia, i tried my hardest to get him away from the rebel vsds (rebed 0\/\//\/5 /\/\3!) well, i sent all my ships to hyperspace, after trying to knock out at least 1 of their vsds, i was successfull in destroying its engines. What I did then, to avenge Screed was take the Kell Dragon, an imperial star destroyer, chock full of 6 squads of ties, and Admiral Dorja in charge, and i went to where the vsd was stalled and I SMASHED IT!!!!!!! WOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT'S FOR ADMIRAL SCREED YOU [EDITED DUE TO PROFANITY] REBELS!!!!!!!! ------------------ [This message has been edited by Rogue15 (edited August 10, 2001).]

Guest Rogue15
btw, it completely stinks when an enemy fleet harms your fleet, popular support in your systems goes DOWN THE HOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And i don't know why, but when the rebels attacked Bothawuii they destroyed 3 of my stormtrooper regiments (out of 6) and popular support went down 1/8-in EVERY SYSTEM!!!!!!! The best thing about having 6 regiments on each planet is that u can hold a fully rebellious planet w/o having any annoying riots (forgot the rebellion name for it). There's no greater joy than destroying coruscant with the death star. u practically do the rebel alliance's job FOR them! actually i'm not sure if they can win if coruscant is destroyed since they have to take it over... hehe. Rebel's awesome since u can make your very own characters with it, and set up their encyclopedia entries. you can even do a card of yourself! u can make them of ships too, but it's best to keep it at the default ship type for that, otherwise you're not going to wanna do the tactical battles... ------------------ If you happen to find a powerful warrior whose face is hidden behind a helmet staring in your direction, just know that the warrior is I, Rogue15. Guest Wade Vox
Funny you should ask this, Rogue Leader, just today I have gone shopping with the intention of buying it! The shopkeeper will get back to me on Monday if they have it. From what I here, it sounds great. I hope nobody minds if I test the link in my sig here... ------------------ <AHREF= "http://www.geocities.com/wade_vox2000"> THE RSF H.Q. - Your spot for BfN! DROID:Security Force member approaching. Guest Wade Vox
I've hopefully solved the problem... Anyway, I want to know - on Rebellion, who should I be??? And, what do you think sounds better: Rebellion (US name) or Supremacy (UK name). I favour Supremacy! ------------------ THE RSF H.Q. - Your spot for BfN! DROID:Security Force member approaching. Eliminate him! Guest Rogue15
Yay!!! although i don't know if they sell it at stores anymore... uh, Rebellion is really awesome, u can invade systems-successfull if u have enough troops to invade with, u can bombard planets too, or u can choose the boring, most done way, and diplomacy every planet u don't own. that way i do all the time, although the rebels are starting to piss me off enough that i'm just going to begin loading Star Galleons w/stormtroopers and taking over, and then diplomating the planet into complete loyalty to me. it's a very wide game, meaning u have tons and tons of options, the interface seems annoying at first and u don't know what the heck to do, but once u get pass the interface, you'll be very good at the game. i have yet to multiplay (i'll only go up against people i know) ------------------ If you happen to find a powerful warrior whose face is hidden behind a helmet staring in your direction, just know that the warrior is I, Rogue15. Guest Rogue Leader
Hey, R15, I have done both on Endor! What a conincidence. It took me like six times until Endor was a possible planet for conquest, but.... Well, anyway, the rebels brought in this huge fleet, but like in the movie I had a trap set. It was awesome. I had a super star destroyer, Impenetrable, four Imperial II star destroyers, Scythe, Vanquisher, Demolisher, and Assasin, two Interdictor Cruisers, Bounty Hunter and Doomsday, like ten lancer frigates, three Carrack Cruisers, two Victory destroyers, and a complement of another ten-odd ships. Oh, I also had twelve Stormtrooper garrisons, twelve TIE Defender squadrons on the planet, filled the Death Star up to the max with Dark Troopers and Defenders, and my fleet capacities were filled up too. If that didn't work I had seven Gencore II shields and six whatever Turbolasers to back me up. Well, the rebels (I love having gigantic space battles) had like ten Mon Calamari cruisers, (I wish they'd have Dauntless cruisers once in a while) two Bulwark cruisers, and a lot of Dreadnoughts, Bulk cruisers, Escort Carriers, Corvettes, and Gunships, with a full complement of mixed starfighters and garrisons. I also believe that they had a Liberator cruiser and one of their gravity well starships. Immediately upon arrival I assigned targets. It was easy, my star desroyers would go straight for the Bulwark cruisers first then the Mon Cal cruisers. My dreadnoughts and Carrack Cruisers would engage their Dreadnoughts, while my lancer frigates would assist my fighters. My two Interdictor cruisers would assault their Bulk Cruisers, hopefully staying out of the thick of the battle. I had a few Strike cruisers, so they would neutalize the rebel scum's Liberator cruiser. Now with the threat of about ten corvettes, carriers, and gunships, I would have to 'rough' it. My fifty odd squadrons were the first to engage the enemy. Most were A-Wings, so I quickly took care of them. They had about half the starfighters I had, so it was easy pick'n. That was where the spare Alliance ships would strike. Impenetrable spearheaded the attack, heavily damaging several of smaller pests that were attacking my starfighters. I ordered Blue group to mop up the remnants of the starfighter squadrons, while the rest took were to take out the undamaged capital ships. Impenetrable reached its target, the first Bulwark cruiser. It seemed all too quickly that the Mon Cal cruisers reached my smaller star destroyers, I would not be getting help. We exchanged shots, mine doing slightly more damage than theirs. But, they had two vessels. I had luck on my side though. I shot turbo laser blasts at them nearly four time as quickly, or so it appeared, and before I knew it, they had changed targets, my Victory destroyers. I did not wish to lose a single capital ship, so I had my Imperial IIs pull ahead of the Victories. Suddenly, I made my move. Ordering all vessels to engage the Mon Cal cruisers, I watched over twenty Imperial ships leave their old targets and switch to the new ones. Impenetrable disable one Bulwark's weapon systems and begin firing on the second one. Foolish rebels! The rebel ships all went into the heat of the battle. Impenetrable had finally disabled the second huge vessel before it could cause any real harm. Now I sent the rebels reeling. The Impenetrable converged upon the damaged Mon Cal cruisers like a wraith, waiting to go in for the kill. It quickly overtook several of them, as they were striking at my star destroyers. It was a pity, my smaller star destroyers had only managed to disable three of the Cruisers. Half of the remaining ones had no shields and basically the rest were heavily damaged. This time I did not stop at merely disabling, I massacred them all. It was a matter of minutes before the entire rebel fleet had been obliterated. Another victory for the Empire! Guest Rogue15
AWESOME, Rogue Leader! I too LOVE having massive fleet battles. I usually switch to a 'side' view so i see them all orbiting the planet.
