Guest Redwing
I discovered something very interesting in the hard drive of my computer...C:\WINDOWS\TEMP. Seems it's where stuff is sent for safekeeping when you move, unzip or delete really large things at one time. There was a whole bunch of garbage in there...and with it cleared out, there is now 952 megabytes of free space on the computer. *feels like a dope for not having realized it before* ------------------ And the castle rose above the clouds. Guest Ikhnaton
R15, if you're running windows 9x or ME, it doesn't really handle more than 256 very well, some even say it doesn't handle more than 128 very well. Save your money and don't get 512. 256 should be enough. you won't be able to take full advantage of 512 if you are running 9x/ME
Guest Rogue15
i got 256 megs of SDRAM for only $33...it works... i can run alot of games now with no annoying waiting for it to load and now i can finally get shot a bunch of times by the enemies in Project: IGI and be killed by them instead of the framerate problem. My computer's a Compaq Presario Internet PC series: 5000, Model: 5BW120 I don't think i'll be needing anymore ram in a loooong time. In a few months I'll look into getting a PCI graphics card...
