Guest Stan|SCN Punk
I don't see how it is necessary to rotate a wall, but do build the wall before the gate (so it's all rotated out for you).

mailnride
I generally build a few sections of wall, then a gate, then the rest of the wall. That cuts down on the alignment issue. However, there is a little technique you can use. If you have one section of wall, the gate will spin as you rotate around it. However, if you have 2 sections of wall, the game will align the gate in line with the two wall sections, and won't let you change it. The solution is to move the gate to a section of wall (if you have it) that will line it up properly, then move it to your desired build site, it will retain its orientation unless you touch another section of wall along the way.
