Natopo
Hello Designers! A bunch of us have agreed on the idea that you should be able give units and other stuff. An idea for the expansion pack.
SharkBoy007
How about an expansion pack that covers the New Jedi Order books? It would be cool to be able to both play as and fight against the Yuuzan Vong.

An idea for the expansion pack. Give units? You mean, give some of your units to another player (ally) to control? How cool! That'd be a really nifty idea. It would make alliances very interesting, because you could "divide and conquer" rather then both having to fully develop your society in all ways. Imagine an Empire player trading 3 AT-ATs to a Naboo ally in exchange for 10 fighters! Hee hee
vI_Crab_Iv
I also play Westwood's (the C&C ppl) RTS game Emperor: Battle for Dune, set in the Dune books. You could give units and buildings, tho not money like in this game. I only used give units for a few things: 1.) When you are about to die, most ppl give units to their ally. Similar to tributes in an SWGB situation. 2.) When n00b ally players play Atreides and make a bunch of Minatuaruses (minos), which are long range mechs that are almost impossible to micromanage correctly, they give them to me, so I can use my superior micro skillz (yes, good enough that I use a "z":D ) to win. 3.) When you give a unit, any enemy units firing at it stop, because the program checks to make sure that the unit does not come under the control of an ally. They start firing again if the check comes up negative, but because most weapons have a start-firing time, it's invaluable to experts in certain situations. We just trade back and forth. Hard to explain. 4.) The only reason close to what it was intended for: when an ally has lost his army and I send help to stop the enemy army, I leave units there. However even for me its hard to micro all my stuff and my other army gaurding my ally. I just give the army to him since he will be watching his base.
