Omne
Regardless, it's nice to be able to play the game for a bit before plunking down your hard earned money.
StarScrap
I think that Lucasarts etc. relies much more on SW loyalty than on demos to sell games in general. That may sound like a mistake what with all the awful games they've just released, but witht this they also have JK loyalty and Raven loyalty. Of course I still think a demo would be a good idea, but I don't think they really need it. Just out of curiosity, how many of you are going to be showing it to your friends to get them to buy it so you can beat them up online?
Lord_FinnSon
I can show it to my friend who has Playstation 2 and laugh at him after he talked so much about Devil May Cry and Silent Hill 2! But before that I must buy a new PC...
pinkpanther718
It does help to have the SW liscense, but a MP test is the best marketing tool possible IMO at this point in time. By releasing one, they would not only be able to gather data and make last minute changes, but also get the masses hooked on it. Look at how huge of a following Medal of Honor has already, and there are only 2 playable maps, same thing with Wolfenstien before it came out.
