SithMaster2003 Posted January 14, 2002 Share Posted January 14, 2002 Perhaps you have heard about this. There is a new worm going around called JS.Gigger.A@mm (a.k.a. Gigger) This worm will do some serious damage. The main problem is that it will format your hard drive. The e-mail contains "Outlook Express Update" in the subject heading. It contains the attacment called Mmsn_offline.htm If you have this e-mail, don't open it. It is pure evil. This evil thing was discovered a few days ago, but people are only starting to find out about it. I just found out about it tonight on TechTV. This is just a word of caution to anyone who reads this. Also, i forgot to mention it earlier, if you have any anti virus programs on your computer, update your virus definitions. all major anti virus definitions have been updated to include this new worm, so go out and download the definitions to be safe.
