Internet Explorer problems

Ok, heres the problem.

Numerous websites I go to display the "cannot be displayed" and it takes repeated refreshings just to get the site up. (Sometimes they do work right away)

If I finally get the site up, andy kind of pictures or banners are blank and display the red X in the corner, so all I see is the backround and text.

This is really makin me mad because I have usually been able to fix any kind of problems I've had but this has me stumped and I can't find a solution anywhere.

Help!

P.S. E-mail works fine thought there may be a problem with the version, as it states it as being 6.0, when Im bot sure if this is right

1. Here is a page I found that might give you some answers and hopefully you can solve the problem.

Try this.

2. Go to Control panel - Internet and select Remove cookies and Remove files.

You have to login afterwards to Monkey Island Forums because that cookie was also removed!

I don't know if 2.) helps but it's worth a try. :)

3. Click on Help in the menu and select "About Internet Explorer". You can now find what version you have.

The same applies when you are using "Outlook Express."
