Toni Posted January 24, 2002 Share Posted January 24, 2002 Alright..So I recently bought EMI and I love it. I'm up to the part where you've screwed Pegnose Pete's nose on and are at the dock heading for home. Right when Guybrush walks off the screen at the Melee Island docks, the game crashes. Sometimes an error message saying 'Ddplayer' has had an error, and then EMI won't open (I'll get an error message saying it can't.) I have the new patch, nothing else is running, the color is on 16 bit, and when I switched the screen size it didn't help. I have DirectX 8 and a Gforce 2 video card. When I tested my computer for qualifications through the EMI help screen, it said everything was fine. Any help would be much appreciated. Grannen Posted January 24, 2002 Share Posted January 24, 2002 Some DVD's might give a problem. If you have a CD-burner try that one instead. Perhaps a "Full installation" can help.
