No, it wasn't included in the DVD either, because Lucas didn't feel it being that important scene. You might wanna check out this page which examines the possibility of lightsaber working underwater. In TPM, Obi-Wan's saber fried, because he left it ON while underwater, but looks like TPM: Visual Dictionary "books suggests that later model sabres may have had this weakness fixed with water-tight seals."
