Guest PhantomMenace Posted November 10, 2001 Share Posted November 10, 2001 I'm sorry but the people who pre-ordered this game shoud have gotten it today...now we gotta play hide and seek with the UPS guy on monday when everyone is just gonna walk into the store and pick up a copy! I was certain that the people who pre-ordered were gonna get the game a few days early, but now it seems we are gonna get it late...Yes we are going to the get the game later than when it hit stores shelves...i will be the first one to come forward and say that sucks. You all are thinking the same thing but didnt want to face the facts...we got screwed. Unlike PS2's this game is not going to sell out in 2 hours. By the time i realized i was gonna get the game LATER than everyone else on earth it was too late for me to cancel my pre-order!! This deal sucks sucks sucks sucks sucks!!!! What annoys me is that it's rumored to cost $45 at the stores while preorderers have to pay $5 more. We're paying $5 more for a couple of dog tags and a signature, how's that (some idiot in my family will probably end up throwing away the box by accident anyway )? I got it before my guildmembers did who pre-ordered it. Now my post office was on the news today saying it was infected with Anthrax. I know Anthrax is very serious business so dont get me wrong, but that would have meant possible days delay if I would have pre-ordered it. Guest Stormtrooper Posted November 10, 2001 Share Posted November 10, 2001 Chill guys, 1 or 2 extra days isn't that bad...heck, you waited this long...Yes i pre-ordered mine also...you need to understand when you pre-order it doesn't mean your gonna get it faster than the stores..its reserving a copy for yourself incase the stores run out..i don't pre-order much, but since everyone(friends etc) in my area was talking about it i went ahead and pre-ordered just incase.. I checked my pre-order today and it was shipped so i think it should arrive monday or tuesday which is fine with me, atleast i KNOW i have have it for sure. see ya all on the battlefield!!!! Lord JayVizIon Posted November 10, 2001 Share Posted November 10, 2001 i live two hours away from Lucasarts main headquarters, and less than 30 minutes away from one of their buildings in the san francisco area, so i'm hoping my preorder comes on monday or tuesday at the latest. there's no excuse for LEC to delay the game since i live practically near them.....
