GeneralSolo15
Good Day Gamers, First of all, I wish to applaud the team behind the creation of Galactic Battlegrounds. This game is by far on of the best RTS games out there. I love AoE2, but this does blow it out of the water in some cases. Despite the fact that there are only six civilizations, which I'm sure will change soon enough, the differing artwork for each is astounding. Much attention was given to accuracy and design, showing the expertise of those who work for Lucasarts. The plethora of options in this game is astounding. Maps, designing levels, technologies, unit designs, and not to mention the enveloping campaigns, all make this game addictive. A good addiction at that. All in all, this game has crafted a place for itself in gaming history. I only have a few questions, remarks, and ideas. When I play a game, multiplayer or standard game, and the Trade Federation is my ally or enemy, they usually don't get past TL1. They have adequate resources, and everyone else has advanced, on any difficulty setting. Is this a game glitch perhaps? Simon the killer Ewok is a good friend of mine, but I look forward to a time when I may see other Ewoks in the games. Hint, hint. Don't change the soundtrack if you bring out an expansion. AoE2 did that, and the original was better. An idea: a new cheat code on any future expansions that will create a killer protocol droid. It's time we saw Threepio with a blaster. A suggestion: release, either in a book or online, instructions and directions on how to use the Scenario Editor. I find most of the controls easy to follow, but triggers and figuring out which sound file is which are not so elementary. So keep up the good work, in both future projects, and any future SWBG projects. Oh yes, if you put a new Amidala in an expansion, put her in a battle outfit for something. Somehow I can't picture Queen Elizabeth in a gown with a handgun. Amidala wouldn't wear a gown and pack a blaster. And so I leave you, the hooded fan. Clarify this: you mean, when the computer controls the Trade Fed, in a solo game where you are playing against it, on all levels (moderate, hardest, etc), the computer never gets itself, as the TF, out of TL 1? I've played against the TF tons of times. They always get to T4 unless I do a major rush to stop 'em. I have never observed this behavior. Are you perhaps using massive rushes and just not giving it enough time? On moderate, the computer takes about 16-20 minutes to hit TL 2. If you regularly do rushes pre-minute-16, you wouldn't ever see a moderate computer opponent of any sort reach TL 2. But why this would just be with the TF, just on your system, is beyond me. Certainly doesn't happen on my system.
