Vampire Slayer
I am currently trying to decide on a college major. The college near my home has a B.S. Technology Management program, which is a general program for technology careers. Another university in my state has a digital media program that is simular to the Technology Management program, except it also gives you the option of taking classes specifically for game designing. I would like to know, since I want a career designing games, is it nessesary for me to pick a college major that includes coarse work in game design or do you think that an ammature gaming expirence would be enough? If you could provide any information on what kind of a degrees do gaming companies, such as LA, ES, Square, ect. look for, it will be extremely helpful. If I find out that I need to get a degree in the Digital Media program, then I would need to move in that area and I may have to move in a few months. Thanks in advance.
