Guest dlayers Posted November 11, 2001 Posted November 11, 2001 As an ex-Walmart electronics department manager, here's how it worked in our retail stores: 1) Games were usually a week late because the vendors have to buy them once they realize they are out. 2) Games only arrive on certain days of the week...in the afternoon once UPS runs and the warehouse clerk scans them in. 3) Then you have to depend on the associates in the department to get them out on the shelves You'd have better luck getting them at a Software store than in a regular retail store
Guest dlayers Posted November 11, 2001 Posted November 11, 2001 Another note on pre-orders...if they are coming from the US Postal Service, they'll probably be one day later since Monday is a paid holiday for Veteran's Day. Also, my tracking number Lucas Arts gave me hasn't registered yet on the USPS website...anybody else's work on there yet?

That tells me though, either the USPS has not pluged it into their system yet, or it has not left LA Shipping Dock. Or, I oculd be wrong on both counts!!! Toothless-OMO
