bkujala
The game keeps crashing during the cutscene which plays after using the cannon to get out of the room at the beginning of the game. Any suggestions on how to resolve this? I've tried lowering my color depth and monitor resolution already. I'm running Windows 98, with 256 MB of RAM and a 667 Mhz processor. Thanks, Bryce
Grannen
I'm trying to figure out which MI game you are refering to. Is it Curse of MI when Guybrush leaves the ship?
bkujala
Yeah, sorry. I found this board off of a link on another site, and didn't realize this wasn't just Tech Help for Curse of MI. =) -Bryce
Grannen
Have you checked if you can get help at http://support.lucasarts.com/trg/tg.asp?id=26&x=81&y=14 ? It is possible that you need to update your video driver. You can find a list of manufacturers here. http://support.lucasarts.com/mfg_links/hardware.htm
bkujala
Yeah, I already checked that support link. There didn't seem to be anything up there that helped with my problem, besides the obvious things like quitting other programs, etc. Also, I checked and my video drivers are up to date. Any other suggestions would be appreciated! -Bryce

bkujala
Eww, that's a pain in the butt. I'll try that when I get some time. I'll let you know how it works out. -Bryce
Kjølen
It might be your video card drivers. That is one of the leading causes of cutscene crashes.
