Moses Posted March 9, 2002 Share Posted March 9, 2002 I decided I would go check out the new rooms for JKII on the zone, but after I signed in and all that I clicked on the room and a prompt came up: Failed to start Zproxy. I've downloaded the "necessary software", so what's the problem? Hopefully I can figure this out before JKII comes out. Granted i will probably play more on the dedicated server, but I would like to at least have this option too. Anyone shed some light on this Zproxy problem for me? Kurgan Posted March 9, 2002 Share Posted March 9, 2002 I believe they have faqs and help files over there to help you. Are you behind a firewall of some kind? Are there restrictions on your security settings that might be preventing it from working? The Zone isn't exactly known for it's superior quality software, but it could be something simple like that. Moses Posted March 9, 2002 Author Share Posted March 9, 2002 Thanks, I figured out what it was. I looked at the FAQ and it was in there (but the last one listed of course ). I needed to uninstall and reinstall it, but I had to go through the actual "add/remove programs" on my computer. I couldn't just install over it.
