LEC Preorder: early, on-time, or late?

I preordered from LEC...and I'm trying to decide whether or not to cancel the order and just go buy the thing at my local EB (well, EBX here, which is really weird cuz nothing else is called EBX. anyway...). i like going to a store and picking up the game and holding up the cashier...er, i mean, paying for the game nicely, and then running to my car to drive home @ 300mph and play :) it's much better than waiting for the thing to show up at my doorstep.

mainly, i'm scared of WHEN the game will arrive. Will it show up before the stores get it, or maybe on the same day? If so, i'll keep the order. But if there's a .005% chance that it'll come LATER than the store release date, i'll go rush and cancel my order tomorrow cuz i want this thing ASAP :)

EB has to get its shipment from LEC too. If you order from LEC you'll probably get it at the same time EB does. That's just my (very hopeful and likely clouded by that fact) theory. Also, if they want to give it enough time to get to a high postal traffic state like NY or FLA, they have to send it earlier than they would if they were just sending it to like Minnesota or Wisconsin. I think this means that they'll send it early and it'll get to states like MN and WI faster before it gets to FLA or NY, but in order to get it to NY and FLA in time, they have to send it that early. It's confusing, but I think I made my point. I hope I'm right. I don't want to recieve my game late. If that's going to be the case, I'm going to cancel my order and just get it at Best Buy or SoftWare Etc. or something.

You know what? I'm going to send a e-mail to LEC and ask about that very thing. I'll post whatever reply I get.

The best way to get new games fast and on release date is EB. Period. I've been buying from my EB store since 6-7 years here in LA. They have games before anyone gets them via mail.

In the case of JK2 i did prepay like $10 to reserve a copy just in case it sells too fast (which we know it will).

Once you've done that, just wait for EB to call you on the 29th. :D

My experience with LEC is actually pretty good. In fact, I've gotten pre-orders a day earlier than the actual street date. I know there are others who have had the same thing happen to them as well. So, I'm expecting mine at my door at the latest on the 29th, but I wouldn't be surprised to see it the 28th. By the way, I'm in California.
