Ok here they are:

 

1. Rebs don't get good troops. They never used em in movies, leave them air and Jedi.

 

2.Trade federation with better troops and very weak heavy weapons. Maybe they made it that way so they weren't like the empire, but I like destroyers better than darktroopers.

 

3. Fix the AT-AT walking. It looks as if it is tip-toeing across the ground.

 

Some good things:

 

1. AT-AT's!

2.Gungans. Haven't tested them, played the 5th oom-9 mission, look awesome.

3. Scenario editor has everything I need.

4. Like the Jedi. Add something better than a monk.

5. Destroyer droids! They kick a**

You really need to catch up on your Star Wars. The Rebels had the better standard troops thanks to their guerrila tactics and the rigid doctrines the Imperials had to use. Maybe they didn't use them in the movies, but as a rule, your standard Rebel troops are better then the Imperials. Not those crappy cells run by distraught teenagers, Rebel Specforce units are feared throughout the Galaxy. Ever heard of Lt. Page's Commandos?

The Empire just had more troops, not better ones. If you've ever gone beyond the movies, you'd know that Rebel troops are a vital part of thier military, as troops are a vital component in every military ever established. So, it makes sense that Rebels have some of the best troops. The Rebels had the best and brightest personell in the galaxy, and the troops reflect that advantage. Imperial troopers were simply lackluster and standard. The real power of the Imperials came from it's mighty war machines and superweapons, and limitless resources

Two, giving the Rebel advantage in solely air and Jedi is...redundant. The Naboo already have the most powerful Air force and Jedi o_0. It's would also be ridiculously unbalanced if you just removed the Rebellion's troop component without doing anything else. What advantages are the Rebels supposed to have THEN?

Me thinks your opinion is based more on "background stuff" ( in which you are sadly lacking information) then any sort of game balancing.

ok, #1, I only see the movies, don't read books, ok?

#2, The naboo would also have sea, I think, since they also lived on a water planet, but not as much as the gungans.

#3, I can express my opinion, I still think the Trade federation should have better troops. That was their whole army. And they were just as easily killable as stormtroopers.

To WC_heavyarms: While everyone is entitled to his or her own opinion I think a certain amount of knowledge of Star Wars needs to be held before one can make serious declarations unchallenged. The Trade Federation should not have better troops than the Empire for the simple fact that most of the Imperial ground forces were controlled by or made up mostly of intelligent biological beings. Granted that droids can display very human characteristics if there memory is not erased for a very long time (C-3P0 & R2D2) the trade federation droids were just a massive ai controlled robot army. They were meant to be cheap and overwhelming in numbers. Since they are droids they will march on into blaster fire without fear of being terminated. These droids were not built to be Rambo special forces type fighters, they are just there for overwhelming numbers and loyalty.

I think that the empire is my fav because of onr thing: Mechs. I love their AT-AT's, there so huge and powerful:D

Ok, I never said they should be better than the imps. Sure, they shouldn't I know that. Maybe slightly less, but should ahve a group bonus maybe for fighting in large groups.
