Lord_FinnSon Posted March 21, 2002 Posted March 21, 2002 You might wanna wait a little bit longer until Radeon 8800(RV250) comes out and according to some rumours, Ati will announce it quite soon. Both 8500 and 8800 share the same core architecture, but 8800 has been clocked much higher(350/600) as opposed to 8500(275/550) and I'm sure Ati has put a much more effort to drivers this time than they did when they announced 8500.
Dias Posted March 21, 2002 Posted March 21, 2002 Yea it is evil anycard that has sutch buggy drivers that half the textures fail to appear in ceartin games and other bugs ugh, i can name one game that uses the q2 engine that the radeon cant even play the mere fact thats its the q2 engine means it SHOULD run on anycard, drivers drivers drivers ATI sux, i got acess to a wealth of hardware and can tell u easily to stay away from ATI
