I'm in the unfortunate situation that I can't afford DSL or cable at the moment and just wanted to know whether i should even bother getting involved in multiplayer at all. Alunar Posted March 27, 2002 Share Posted March 27, 2002 I think as long as you play with players in a reasonable distance (In the same hemisphere is the farthest I'd go.), Keep up on ping and such. Be sure you're on a 56K and not a 28.8K as well. There are other threads you may find useful..I am moving to a new house, so I cannot install cable, as it would be foolish to install it, use it about a month then yank it out..If I do get it at our new home anyways..
