Need help on yavin mission

I'm stuck at the part after where theres flames shooting behind the illusionary wall. Is there a way to deactivate the flames? I can make it to the 3rd stream of flames, but even when there are no flames it still kills me instantaneously. thanks

Force Push will shut them off for a while. when they flick off, look at the stand where they come from, and F push the pilot flame.

 

That'll switch them off for a wee while.
