I notice that the included computer AI has some of the same issues the computer AI has in AoE II TC. For example, often at difficulty settings Moderate and Hard, the computer player will not build workers and gets stuck gathering resources with just three units.

 

I was hoping I could fix this issue by using the AI editing freeware tools that applied to AoK. However, for example, the DRSBUILD utility does not recognize the gamedata.drs file as a DRS file; That particular DRS file that is where the shipped AI scripts are buried (as well as the map generation scripts).

 

I'm hoping you C programmers out there will jump on this!

 

P.S., to the Lucasarts folks, it would be nice if you would supply a zip file of the current AI scripts so we urchins could play with them.. Also, please fix the AI so it doesn't fail to build workers!
