Minor problems with Matrox G400 (16 MByte)?

The box says that Matrox G400 cards are supported. The readme says that there are problems with 16 MByte-cards. Well, my card has only 16 MByte, and it runs fine - ALMOST! I can see some "lines" in all skies (where the sky-brushes touch each other) and the text at the beginning of the game doesn't appear (it says "Star Wars" and then only the music plays )....
