Hanging P
Put this line in your server.cfg; set sv_master1 "masterjk2.ravensoft.com"
kleaver
Well I have tried multiple ( Probably hundreds) of different configurations to get my server to show in the In game Browser I have added seta sv_master1 "masterjk2.ravensoft.com" in the config file + set dedicated 2 in the command line, Also I tried the settings below, all with and without quotes with set and seta and without g_dedicated "2" sv_dedicated "2" ui_dedicated "2" But cannot get the server to show in the ingame Browser, Can add it manually to a favourite and join without a problem. Server shows up in ASE (All Seeing Eye). Sends a heartbeat to the master server never gets a reply. Never had this with the RTCW or UT servers I ran on the same machine and connection. ( they still work if I start them) Have a Tribes 2 server and a Global Ops server running and they both show in the games ingame browser. I am running the Windows executable as a dedicated server, now is this what is causing the problem as it is not a true dedicated server executable like the Linux one that is available now. Any comments welcome as I have spent about 9 hrs trying to get the server to show in the ingame browser so far. But at least I still have ASE showing it. Update: I fixed my server not showing in the in game browser by moving the server over to a Linux platform. I am still using exactly the same server config file as I used on the windows server, but the Linux server shows up and the windows server does not. Don't have a clue why, but it works now, and the server has been full since starting the Linux machine up. Update 2: Fixed the windows server version as well now, As soon as I switched to the dedicated w32 exe, server now shows up in the in game browser, using exactly the same config files as before but with the dedicated exe it shows and with the jk2mp.exe it does not. Both had the heartbeat message. So for me the dedicated server files fixed both platforms.

geronimo27
I was finally able to get my server to show in the brower by using +set net_port in the command line. But I had to specify a port number other than the default. For some reason, using the default port that the game assigns causes the in-game browser to not display the server.
