Do These FPS Sound Right?

I'm a bit disturbed by the fact that I can't seem to improve my FPS. No matter what settings I try, the FPS during the demo (using TIMEDEMO 1) never seem to leave the 60-ish range.

When I run at 1600x1200 Max settings (no AA), I get 54.9

When I run at 1024x768 Max Settings (no AA), I get 65.8

When I run at 640x480 Normal Settings (no AA), I get 74.8

That doesn't seem like a lot of difference. In Quake3, I'll get 240fps at 640x480!

Anyways, I've got a P4 2.0Ghz (Northwood) and a GF3 ti500. 512MB RAM (DDR). Vertical Sync is off in both the game and the properties.

FPS during actual SP gameplay usually hovers in the 40-70fps range. Sometimes dipping into the 30s in large open spaces.

Do all these numbers sound right to you guys?

Thanks!

P.S. Quick edit. Here's how you do a timedemo benchmark in JKII. . .

From http://www.hardocp.com . . .

It comes with its own demo but to bench it first you have to create a short cut the MP and add +set sv_cheats 1 so it will look like this "D:\Star Wars JK II Jedi Outcast\GameData\jk2mp.exe" +set sv_cheats 1"

Run it from there hit shift ` to get ~ down comes the command line just like all Q3 games type timedemo 1 just like all Q3 games and run the demo! You have to scroll up to see your FPS by using Page up. I'm getting 77FPS at 1600X1200 max no AA with a Xp1900 MSIKt333 and MSI GF4 4600.
