KrazyDude Posted March 31, 2002 Posted March 31, 2002 Ok i love this game and all, but the crashes are kinda annoying. My system specs are above requried, and i have all the latest drivers. But every now and then the game crashes to desktop with gamma messed up and gives me an error with jk2.exe This happens in both SP and MP. Windows Xp 650 AMD 164 ram gf3 ti200 also periodically, like once a day or so, i get a blue screen, although that happened mostly in SP, not even sure if it was in MP ever. Anyways my hope is that someone may be able to help me resolve this, so that i may enjoy this grea game even more.
Valdarious Posted March 31, 2002 Posted March 31, 2002 How long has it been since you formated and reinstalled? Since you installed XP has any of the hardware changed? What programs do you have running in the background? These are some issues that might lead to something.... maybe... maybe not, throwing ideas out.
KrazyDude Posted March 31, 2002 Author Posted March 31, 2002 It's been about 2 months since i formatted. And i don't plan to in the near future. Formatting is not my way of having fun. No new hardware. I have norton antivirus, and IMAP running in background.
Ramoz Posted April 1, 2002 Posted April 1, 2002 I've had that happen also.. It usually only happens when I use a force power.. On one level when I had to use mind trick it would do it everytime I tried to use mind trick on a certain wall. If i tried to use it anywhere else in the room it wouldn't do it.. Don't see any kind of error logs in the jk2 directories, so I have no idea what happened..
