L33T Force
Well that's all I want to know because It will say a whole lot more for me because I run RTCW with everything on max and it's runs like a dream, so since the build on the same engine I want to know if it is that's much diffrent in performance. I have a 800 Mhz 384 Mb RAM Geforce 3 TI500 I haven't done any "how's my machine going to run it" post before, but this game I must It.
Owen
I am sure you will be able to run the game fine. The only thing that would hurt you is your slower cpu. It also depends on what resolution you normally use and what settings.
camp3r
i don't think you'll be able to run "everything" on max and be happy with the performance. perhaps if you use 640x480 but i doubt even then.
GRIMLOCK
on my system with an AMD Athlon 1.33 mhz and 256 DDR the game runs smoothly except in certain rooms (the red room that you've probably heards so much about for one) and an entire level where it rains (no more on that, cause i'm no spoiler ) the lag in that level killed me so bad i couldn't really play at that point, even with all the settings turned down. might just be my Geforce2 MX 400 card though, since NVidia users like meself are known to have minor issues in game beyond that, just avoid the volumetric shadows and high res screen settings and you should be fine with that ammount of RAM but compared to RTCW, this game is the next generation!, the GFX are VERY intense. if you thaught RTCW was cinimatic quality, JK2:JO will prove to be more! just remember your thinking cap in single player, there seem to be people who have lost their sense in realising how FPS's used to be, they aren't all Q3A/UT style shoot everything in sight. they include puzzles, and JO takes that to the max right along side its GFX. Edit: as for max settings, if i could run RTCW on a P2 333mhz with 320 meg RAM, and have all settings maxed, i'm sure u could run JO with minimul problems, minus a slight framerate loss in above mentioned area's and other places of intensity
L33T Force
Thx guy's It's good to hear you'r opinion on this, I think I start as I always does with a new game evrything on max, played it a little then altering the settings along the way. So I must wait and see On thusday how it's running. I know my CPU is't very fast, but it was when I brought it- hehe Im't not upgrading yet, the GF3 helps me alot. Enjoy you'r game luky one's
