squirrel1
Hallo everyone, I hope this hasn't already been told, I just found this blood patch on a German site, it works for all language versions : Jedi Knight 2 Final Bloodpatch Now you have 3 new menu entries, "Model Dismemberment"(needs to be "On"), "Dismemberment propability"(needs to be "Excessive"), and "Zensierung"(needs to be "Off"). It's a German patch, they forgot to translate "Zensierung" to "Censorship", but it works ! You can now cut off arms, legs, heads, abdominen... The whole splatter package we all desire Bye, Squirrel Edit : "Zensierung" needs to be "Off", I first posted "On", my fault !
ChronoWarrior
I'm unfamiliar with how patches work with JK2. Is there a way I can easlily turn it off if I want too? Or do I have to delete the files in explorer? Cause I may not want it on for the rest of the game.
squirrel1
This blood patch is a zip-archive, it contains four files : assets9.pk3 Crack.exe INFO!.txt jk2gamex86.dll The Crack.exe will modify 20 bytes in the jk2sp.exe in GameData-folder, make a backup of it before you run the crack.exe. The jk2gamex86.dll replaces the original jk2gamex86.dll, make a backup of this one too. assets9.pk3 is a new pk3-file, you don't have to worry about that. If you want to remove the blood patch simply restore the backup files jk2sp.exe and jk2gamex86.dll, that's it. Bye, Squirrel Edit: Make a backup of the jk2config.cfg too !!! B0MBER II
If it just adds blood then its not worth it IMO G_SaberRealisticCombat 1 code knocks limbs off quickly
squirrel1
You don't get to see blood, it only allows you to cut off arms, legs, heads and abdominen , so blood patch isn't the right description, my fault !
Valdarious
Then its not worth using unless g_saberrealisticcombat doesnt work for the germans. Changing this command to 1 will enable all that without messing with the exe file.
ChronoWarrior
So if I want Saber Realistic Combat on. I type "g_saberrealisticcombat 1" in the console right? If I want it off I type "g_saberrealisticcombat 0".
Raythe_X
i know this is contradictory to things weve seen in the movies (the wampa and that weird alien in ANH that Obi 1 deals with in the tavern) but i read that lightsabers "cauterize" (sp?) the flesh, leaving it burned so that it doesnt bleed. Like instead of a gushing stump it seem to leave more like a steaming "scabbed" stump, like luke's in ESB. just FYI...

But I still like to see limbs chucked off......it just looks cool. I don't care about the blood really at all.
Baleine
You're correct Raythe. Thats what it does in the game too... theres a little charred/cinder glowing texture when you cut a limb off in the game. While the g_saberrealisticcombat 1 command is nice, it does seem a bit excessive though. Your saber will even rip someone to shreads if it touches them. Its like every limb is held by a thin thread. Better than it never or very rarely happening though i guess. Makes for nice vs reborn fights.
