end of second mission?

at the end of the second mission when you are in the tie fighter hanger and you are suppossed to force the guard to open the hangar? i have found the secret grated tunnel but its a dead end. also the doors are locked to the guard in the room right outside the hangar. what do i do to finish this mission please help.

This is a tough one but if I remember correctly it involves dropping down a fan shaft. There will be a room that activates it and then you need to destroy some grates that will divert the flow. Then drop down the shaft.

I may be totally off on what level this is but I think thats it. Hope that helps.
