Guest Syclonix
Hey guys, just wanna let all the Logitech users like myself out there that there is a solution to your scrolling troubles! Simply go to http://www.logitech.com/cf/support/mousefiles.cfm choose your OS and then download the "MOUSE REGISTRY FILE FOR GAMERS". It is a simply registry file that will change a certain value so that the scroll wheel will work in games such as Quake 2/3 and JKO. Have fun! Guest Syclonix
For Windows 95/98/NT: http://www.logitech.com/cf/support/mousefiles_w98.cfm#3 I'm not quite sure about ME/XP/2000 because Logitech doesn't seem to have posted any files for those OS's, it may be possible that the problem only occurs on 9x and NT
kerosene31
http://www.logitech.com/cf/support/1368.cfm I am having the same problem in Windows Me. I'm going to try some things mentioned in the link above and see what works.
mike99ca
All you have to do is edit registry. Go to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Logitech\MouseWare\CurrentVersion\Technical and find "MouseHookDLLEnable" and change settings 1 to 0. Restart PC and it will work. Even in WinXP. Happy scrolling:cool:
